The Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission and the International Workers’ Compensation Foundation are jointly sponsoring the 2018 Educational Conference and Exhibition on October 17-18, 2018 in Richmond, Virginia. The goal of the conference is to educate all those who participate in the Virginia workers’ compensation system regarding current roles, procedures, forms and policies, and to provide an opportunity for dialog among the conference attendees. Breakouts sessions will be utilized to discuss certain topics in specific detail for a more specialized view while other topics will be presented from a more general perspective.
The VWCC encourages the following entities to attend: employers, insurance adjusters, self-insurers, third party administrators, safety and human resource managers, plaintiff’s and defense attorneys, health care providers, mediators, and medical/vocational rehabilitation providers. Anyone interested in Virginia’s workers’ compensation system will receive valuable information at the conference.
